New guidelines of the Program for Decentralized South-South Technical Cooperation were published
The Secretariat of Institutional Relations of the Presidency of the Federative Republic of Brazil, through the Undersecretariat for Federative Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Brazilian Cooperation Agency report that is already available the new version of the Program for Decentralized South-South Technical Cooperation. The new adjustments to the content of the program include the resolutions sent in the past five regional seminars.
The main changes were the inclusion of public consortiums as the main proponents of cooperation proposals, developed countries are now allowed to participate as partners of countries from south-south axis and the possibility of states and municipalities act in a single project, since only one is the holder and the other partner.
Proposals should be sent only to the e-mail: cooperacaosulsul@presidencia.gov.br on June 29, the first term, and August 31, the second term. The Technical Committee formed by representatives of the Federal Government, states and municipalities will be responsible for evaluate compliance with the criteria established by the program.
