Objectives

General Objective

To build commitments to carry out the human right to adequate and healthy food, according to article no. 6 of the Federal Constitution, and promote food sovereignty by means of the implantation of the Policy and of SISAN (National System for Food and Nutrition Security) in the government spheres, with the participation of society in general.

Specific Objectives

  • Analyze the advances, threats and perspectives for the carrying out of the human right to healthy and adequate food and for the promotion of food sovereignty in the national and international scopes;

  • Present recommendations related to the National Food and Nutrition Security Plan;

  • Evaluate and make recommendations to advance and qualify the process of implementation of SISAN in the three government spheres, aiming the strengthening of all sectors on the demand of the human right to adequate and healthy food as well as participation and social control;

  • To make more sensitive, mobilize and commit the actors to adhere to SISAN and to build the management agreement for the human right to adequate and healthy food.
